Some Babies Are Adopted Hardcover – August 1, 2017

Our biological son is four and we were trying to find a way to explain to him that he will hopefully be an adoptive brother. I had very high standards when searching for books. I wanted something that explained our current phase of adoption. We needed a toddler friendly way to explain that he is hopefully getting a new sibling (someday) and it will not come from Momma's tummy. This book was perfect. It sparked questions, built his vocabulary, and was easy to digest. We hope to use this book again when teaching our adopted child about their own adoption as a toddler.

I got teary when I read through it. My daughter loves it, and asks for it almost nightly. Excellent book for your adopted little!
