Top Quality Understated Elegance In Masonic Traditions!
I bought this for a Former Speaker of the House of Pennsylvania devoted to True Quiet Building for Community Service in the Traditions of Masonic Harmony. The Square and Compasses Joined Together is the single most identifiable Symbol of Freemasonry. Both the Square and Compass are Architect's Tools and are used in Masonic Ritual as Emblems to Teach Symbolic Lessons to always build up those around us.The "G" is for God and Geometry. The Masonic Letter "G" reminds that our every act is done in the sight of the Great Architect of the Universe......"By letters Four and Science Five, this โGโ aright doth stand, in due Art and Proportion as one have your answer, friend." At the same time, Freemasonry is not a religion, nor is it a substitute for religion. It requires of its members a belief in God as part of the obligation of every responsible adult, but advocates no sectarian faith or practice. Freemasonry is open to men of any faith, but religion may not be discussed at Masonic Meetings. This is a Perfect Gift for any Masonic Member!
