Very nice case. The leather seems to be of good quality and feels good in the hand. I'm not sure how it compares to the apple one since I don't own that but it was well worth what I paid for it. the bottom is open on the case, I'm pretty sure the apple one is too. The corners are still protected though. Edges of case sit slightly up above the screen but you'll probably want a screen protector anyway. Give it a go.

Don't order - doesn't fit. The buttons don't line up with the actual buttons, causing the phone to try to emergency dial, power down, or activate Siri.I ordered this before the phone itself arrived - they must have designed it around an incorrect pre-release sample.

This case looks amazing at s glance but it’s completely not functional. The case is smaller than the actual phone, it’s so small to the pint where the lock button is being pressed and the volume buttons also. The alignment is all wrong for the buttons anyway i wastes my money on a case i can’t use.

What an excellent case. After a few weeks, this has to be my favorite case of all time. Feels like leather, but it's actually TPU. Super soft, suple fake tumble leather with a soft microfiber inside. I dropped it once, and it protected the phone perfectly! Metal textile buttons that are easy to push in and makes the case look and feel more expensive then it actually is! Would buy again.

DOES NOT PROPERLY FIT BUTTONS. As other reviewers have stated, the buttons do not line up and when I put it on my new phone it almost activated the emergency SOS dialing. I thought maybe the issue was fixed because there are new reviewers saying the case fits, but it’s not.Do not order this case.

Hi there, I meant to leave this review several weeks ago, and return the case, but I forgot to do so and realize now the return window has closed. I was very unhappy with this case, unfortunately. It did not snuggly fit my phone, despite multiple attempts (and different people) trying to get it to do so. I should have reached out, which is on me for not doing, but I assumed it was better than nothing and would still provide some protection. Within a week of having the case, the first time I dropped my phone, the screen cracked right on the exact corner spot where the case wasn't fitting. :( Was a bummer.

Update: the company sent me a replacement case at no charge after hearing that the first one failed. Their customer service has been fantastic - I have the new case on my phone and am hoping it is more resilient than the last. Kudos to the company for the quick response - thank you.Within two weeks one of the side volume buttons popped off. Poorly made case. I’m going to return mine. Would not recommend.

UPDATE: The seller reached out after I wrote the review below, and they actually sent me a new case for free. This one was slightly modified to better fit the XS, and the buttons work a lot better now! Changing my review from 1 to 5 stars!ORIGINAL: The case itself is extremely stiff; I couldn't even get my iPhone XS to fit into it properly. Once I got it to fit, the volume buttons wouldn't work. I would not recommend; there are better leather cases out there.
