I ordered it on Nov 16th and received it on Nov 25th. The case feels professional for the iPad mini with retina display..Pro: Feels sturdy, no need to worry about any damages to the iPad when you throw it into your bag. Has cut-outs for all required buttons, ports, speaker and mics.The magnetic cover wakes up the iPad when opened and puts to sleep when closed. The cover can fold all the way back, and best of all, it has magnets to even keep it in place, so the flap doesn't move when holding.Cons: really not a big deal, but there is a strong paint odor from the case. I am hoping it goes away in a few days since I just got it less than 24 hrs ago. and the holes on the back side for the secondary mic and camera are not centered, however, it doesnt affect the usability or functionality. I will change it to a 5 star when the odor fades away.Bottomline: even if you are not on a budget, this is the case to buy for keeping in that beautiful ipad mini w/ retina display. i would buy it again if this were to wear out someday.Tip: Please note that the colors which don't have a "pro" in their name are for the iPad mini original and those with "pro" are for the iPad mini w/ retina display.

I bought this for my new iPad mini with retina display. It fits good and the color red is bright and beautiful. The stand works great when placed in the viewing position but can slip out pretty easily while in the typing position. The sleep/wake feature works great and the magnetic cover keeps it closed. The only complaint that I really have is that the hand grip is placed a little bit too far from the edge so it only covers my fingers, but I have small hands and this may not be a problem for others. Otherwise, this is a great case that offers great protection.

I've had this item for several weeks now, and am impressed with it mostly, but am disappointed that it's still so stiff to the use when trying to sit it upright on a table. Another thing: I have small hands, so the elastic hand grasp is too far to the side for me to comfortably hold the tablet and use the elastic grip at the same time. As much as I like the pocket into which the tablet firmly fits, sometimes the sides of the pocket cover the back arrows or other things along the edges of the screen.

This case is a tremendous value. I am using it for a iPad mini 2 and the case fits it perfectly. The auto sleep function works well. It's much cheaper than some of the fancier cases you can get. Four stars because one of my kids figured out how to get a scratch in one of the corners of the iPad, even with the corner protection. Sure, it's a minor quibble, but I would still recommend this without reservation. You will not be disappointed.

For the price, this is a great product. I've had a CaseCrown cover on my iPad 2 for 3 years, and it's still in good shape. When I bought the my mini, I didn't even look at more expensive covers, just went to Amazon and ordered the CaseCrown for the mini. I've traveled all over with the iPad 2, and the CaseCrown cover has stood up to the abuse. I've dropped it a few times, and the CaseCrown cover has protected my iPad well - still looks new. I expect no less from this iPad mini cover. I highly recommend this product.

I love this cover. The only thing I would change and is the only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars, is the hand strap needs to be moved towards the center of the cover so that you can easily use it with both hands.

The case does its job, for the most part. I don't like the fact that it leaves a lot of the iPad's bezel exposed and prone to scratches. Also, the camera and microphone holes are misaligned. It's a pretty decent case, but I don't know if I'd buy it again.

I don't necessarily love it, but my wife does. Honestly, I just chose and ordered this case for my wife's mini and I'm not the user. Hence I don't have any feelings one way or the other about it. My wife is thoroughly impressed with it and the case shows no signs of wear although she's only had it a few months. If I personally had an iPad mini and wanted a case for it this is the one I would choose for myself.
