Wonderful complete collection of the music from the God Father movies.
I loved the music and theme of the God Father movies and found it all in this one, original Paramount Pictures soundtrack of The Godfather. I personally have it playing all day on my Windows Media Player. And there are 12 tracks, Main Title, I Have But One Heart, The Pickup, Connie's Wedding, The Halls Of Fear, Sicilian Pastorale, Love Theme From The God Father, The God Father Waltz, Apollonia, The New God Father, The Baptism, and The God Father Finale. And it has wonderful audio quality.

Better than I could have ever expected.
It is exactly what I wanted. Several versions of a similar melody, and then some.With every track, I am brought to the very part of the movie that track is taken from.Listen to this on a dark, cold night, and you can re-live the movie in your mind.I am sorry for sounding too flowery, but this movie is like an old friend to me, and this CD is that old friend whispering into my ear.

Too repetitive
Well, I jumped in too fast and purchased the entire album, before discovering that most of the selections are just a variation on what I would call the two "major melodies" in the set. Should have just downloaded the two that represent the best of the music.

Fabulous music.
I always liked the theme music from The Godfather - one of the greatest movies of all time.My one complaint is that the case came cracked (see attached photos) apparently due to less than adequate packaging.The CD plays just fine.

The tracks are quite authentic for the purist. I was somewhat hoping for a vocal track by Andy Williams or another singer.

Ordered for someone else.
Not much I can say, I brought this for my elderly mother after she was telling me about one of the songs called the waltz..she said it relaxes her, and would love a copy, but didn't know where to get it or the name of it...so we searched for it on you tube, and bingo we found it...then ordered on Amazon..She was over the moon, when I handed it to her.

I simply do not like all "remastered" music
Original, as it says on the box. Not digitally remastered. I simply do not like all "remastered" music, because is does not sound like is used to years ago. This music gives me the same experience that I used to have when I listened to it many years ago.
