Snake

I bought this book for my husband for father's day. Well, since Stabler is his all time favorite I gave him the book when it arrived. He's already finished reading it and he really isn't an avid reader. He would tell me about some of the hilarious and serious aspects brought up in the book. Obviously he enjoyed it very much! It has to be 5 star . I might even be tempted to give it a go.

I got this as a birthday present for my grandpa. He really liked it.

What were considered rumors about the wild lifestyles of the Oakland Raiders are actually truths according to one of the leaders, Kenny Stabler. Drinking, honky-tonking, reading the playbook by the jukebox light, womanizing and oh yes - football are some of the sideshows in this book. This is not only about the "Snake" but also about the other characters from the Oakland Raiders during their heyday.

I loved this book, parts of it were hillarious & a few a little sad, I love the Raiders of the 60's & 70's, hopefully someday they can return to their former glory, Great book

Awesome book. Definitely lived up to the hype!

Great first hand account of what it was like to be a Raider in the glory days of the 70's.
