Beautifully produced and written
Bought this as I was interested in foraging for inks and natural colours for staining wood, cloth... interested in using ink for pen and painting. Everything about this book is just beautiful. People who see it are just drawn to it and spend ages looking through, I just love colour and this book is an absolute gem. Even when closed, the pages come together to create a beautiful pattern. As a newbie was a bit confused about using vinegar - definitely find the cleaning vinegar if you can, it doesn't smell like the clear (edible) stuff you generally see on sale and does a better job.

Love this book!
Its one of those books I like to look inside not always reading. Beautifull pictures! Its like an art and life philosofy in it. I did some recepies from the book and you also find some inspiration how to make your own ink.

Have just received this so not used any of the recipes yet but it looks beautiful, the recipes look doable and reproducable and I cant wait! Looks like a lot of creative fun

Beautiful book and really informative
I saw the movie, which blown me away, and decided to buy the book. It is stunning informative and poetic. Its principles are well laid out. This is about foraging your material and about experimenting There are recipes that anyone can do if you find the ingredient. This is the perfect book to initiate yourself to ink making. Extremely inspiring. Highly recommendable.
