The cost to get MSM through Amazon and other retail outlets seems always the same. Therefore, I enjoy having it shipped to my door with Amazon prime.This is a solid product. It is for horse, joint health and the veterinarian approves of MSM, in addition to other supplements that we might give our mare.

I ordered this for my senior dog who has been limping and trouble getting up etc; she is 12 yrs old.It's been 5 months now and I'm very satisfied with the results. It took 3 months to see results, give it to her once a day with her canned dog food. She still limps a little but she doesn't have as much trouble getting up and getting around.I tried many different products specifically for dogs to improve her mobility but this one works the best and is very inexpensive compared to other things on the market.

AniMed has fantastic products. I use several for myself and for my pets. You absolutely can't beat the value and quality of AniMed. I'll never use anything else. I started out using AniMed's DL-Methionine for my male cat (add supplement to their food) to save his life from struvite crystals. That was 6 years ago and he has NEVER had any issues since I've been using. He was a very sick boy and on vet meds for a month. So many male cats suffer yet there is a simple solution: use AniMed supplements! And before they suffer illness/death. He is now a healthy and happy cat. I use several AniMed products for myself and I highly recommend. Again, you can't beat the quality and ease of use. I mix in whatever fluid I like but mostly water. I'm a cynic when it comes to supplement use however these products work for me and my cat and they have truly been life changing.Edit: It's now been 10 years since I've used this (DL-Methionine) on my male cats food. He is going strong and still looks young. I have not had a vet bill since. And he's still my favorite boy. 🐈🐾💕

I have a retired old horse, best riding horse and sweetest horse you'd have ever found, but she's old now, and had a hard life before I got her. Ripped tendons and laminitis and too many babies, She's sound but was creaking but now she's actually out bucking around the pasture on this stuff. I told her the other day I was going to slap a saddle on her if she kept this up. I had been feeding Missing Link which helped and she grew an even more gorgeous coat on that stuff, but I was looking for a better alternative. Turns out this works so well, I'm thinking of taking it myself. I had in the past fed her this stuff that was $200, per 3 month container made by vets of food grade ingredients that was guaranteed to work and it did. Then finances dictated finding something else and even that $200 stuff didn't work as well as this.

The flavor is pretty bitter. I put it in my dog's morning meal and no problem. Hoping it helps with mobility problems.

I mix 1/4 to 1/2 tsp in warm water and use this on myself. Being an animal person, I realized long ago, the price for human supplements at a health store are astronomical compared to the exact same supplement at a tack shop. The taste is somewhat metallic, but doesn't bother me. Do I notice a huge difference in my joints? No. I don't suddenly feel 15 years younger. What I have noticed is that I don't complain about joint pain nearly as much as I did before. Still have that tendon/ligamenty pain, but no longer that hot, inflamed bone/cartilagey pain if that makes any sense. Anyway at 1/4 tsp per day, its like a 18 mo human supply. I'm not a doctor and everything above is just what I personally do. This product states it's for animal use only.

The only thing I would say all buyers should know is this product has no safety seal on it. If you're extremely paranoid you will not like the packaging. This product is completely legit and melts in water within seconds and is completely clear. It's the real deal! I ordered the 2.5lb and it equaled to a bit over 7cups of MSM. I use it for my carpal tunnel and back pain and I give it to my Pit Bull for his Arthritis. The taste is VERY bitter and nasty but for the results it's completely worth it. I feel no pain in my back or wrist when I take MSM daily. If I stop taking it, the pain starts to return about 4 to 5 days later. I take 1 tablespoon and I mix it with a tiny bit of water to dissolve then I pour Orange juice in it which REALLY helps with the taste and I mix my dog's 1/2 teaspoon in a tiny bit of Oatmeal because he eats dry food. Long story short, this product is awesome, :)

Years ago, I took this after I broke my arm and I had a lot of trouble healing, I wish I had known about this sooner then. A side effect that I noticed was that I was no longer losing hair in the shower.When I recovered from Covid, one of the effects that I hadn't realized was hair loss.
