United's APECS are manufactured from waterproof, breathable tri-laminate fabric to military spec PD 77AESG 06-02. Brushed nylon outershell laminate with NIR technology. Garments are reinforced at elbows with 330 denier fabric. Both fabrics are durable, quiet and provide protection from weather and contaminants Parkas are Berry Compliant but not Government Issued.

Nice made Jacket
I ordered an APECS Multiam/OCP Parka as advertised and pictured. What I revived was an new GEN III level 6 parka, which was NEW Army issue. PROBLEM.....IT is not an APECS. The one sent only had the chest pass through pockets, none on the hip or on the sleeves. To confirm it was OCP NOT Muticam. Nice made Jacket, just not was advertised or pictured. I Returned it without even putting it on.

Not whats in the picture.
Ordered in a hurry and didn't read the reviews. Thought I was going to get the item in the picture and its not what I received. Good quality jacket but not what I thought it would be. No pockets on sleeves or front of jacket. Only big zippers on front to allow acess to your ocp top underneath.
