This remote is great. The material is smooth and more plastic-y than the sony controllers but thats actually a good thing, imo. It works great for gaming, I played Little Big Planet with no problem or complaints. Everything works perfectly. My sony charger works with this remote. The battery life isn't great but hell, its still better than the originals.Lets be real hear. The original remotes suck ass. They shit the bed within 3 years MAX. I've gone through countless original ps3 remotes and they've all reached the same terrible point.. Maybe thats why they aren't manufactured anymore. Regardless, it makes no sense paying $65+ for a sony remote when this one does the job even better. The buttons may be ugly as hell but the color is a huge bonus. Another bonus is the fact it auto shuts off during inactivity, saving your battery life. Now your battery wont die when you're just trying to relax with netflix.Save yourself the money, this remote is EXCELLENT. The pricing is even more amazing. It is 100% money well spent, no regrets.

So far, I love this controller. A friend of mine said that he doesn't recommend /non Sony/ controllers, but I absolutely love it! And that it comes in a nontraditional colors (orange is one of my fav colors) already had me won over. The battery life seems pretty great, although I'm not sure of how long a typical controller lasts, and I don't always play with it everyday. I do love that controller feels lighter in weigh compared to a Sony controller (not that this is a factor to me, but something I just notice and like about it).One con that I noticed is that the cord didn't work for me. But it's fine because I have another one.I would definitely recommend this ps3 controller!

Idk if there's some kind of trick or if just both controllers i received are duds... Ordered 2 of these for my daughter and she opened them on Christmas just to find we can't sync either one of them to her ps3. Idk anything about returning on here tbh all i do know is we did the same thing to try to sync them as any other ps3 controllers and they just blink. Took a needle to the reset buttons and nothing but blinking. If there's some trick to get it up and running I'll change my review but as of now i have a very upset little girl and a frustrated mama.

Very affordable. Synced quickly with the console. I enjoy the controller.

I needed another controller for my son's PS3 and this is a great addition. It is just like the one he already had. The buttons are easy to move around. He loves it's.

EDIT: Now, only a year after purchase with very little use, a battery warning comes up as soon as I unplug it from the PS3 after charging all night or day. Unfortunately it's unusable unless I decide to order an extremely long charging cord to play with it plugged in. Disappointed.____I got this because of the color since I had a similar one that took a swim in a flood. Unfortunately, this one doesn't hold much of a charge. I'll charge it all day and when I pick it up to use it I might get 4 hours of use. This is fine for light gaming but if you want to use it for a netflix marathon or all night dungeon crawling, I recommend getting a longer charge cable. Not bad, not great.

These controllers are NOT I repeat are Not wireless at all they do not what so ever charge any anyway. Once I unplug it from the PlayStation it blinks like it is not synced or charge it just turns off. This is not an item to bus if you are looking for a wireless controller!!

It worked perfect for one day after that it’s been acting odd it will move the camera angle on its own I will have to turn off the controller and back on ... it will work for a while until I have to turn it off and on again ): not happy
