Great replacement for my Verizon FIOS backup power. Perfect fit. Unfortunately it only lasted one year and one month. Recommend that you do not buy this battery with a one year warranty unless you only need it for a year or less. Recently I bought a replacement with a three year warranty instead.

battery was delivered in a timely matter. was compatible with verizon backup system at a fraction of the cost.

Last year I bought this battery and it lasts for 12 months only instead of 5 years. I just bought this battery again wondering, that the first one was defective. I'll change my rating to 5 stars after 5 years or to 1 star after 1 year.

Original review: I've rarely been forced to leave a one star review for a product, but this is of them. I installed the battery in my FiOS ONT 5 weeks ago, and now it's telling me to replace the battery again. My previous battery lasted almost 5 years. This battery lasted 5 weeks. I'm awaiting a response from the seller.Update: Max Life Battery was quick to send me a replacement battery, so it's good that they stand by their batteries. We'll see if this battery works better than the first one.Update 11/2014: The replacement battery has been fine for 6 months now, so the first one might have been a dud.Update 02/2015: The replacement battery just failed after about 9 months. I'm just going to order an OEM battery since these batteries do not last.

ML8-12 - 12V 8AH Replacement for GT12080-HG FiOS Systems Battery is a new kid on the block. This battery is so good both in price & quality. Since I replace it, no problem at all. The beeping sound stopped. Verizon wanted me to pay 4 times the amount of this battery. I decline, and decided to shop around. If you like to safe money, go for it.

Used as expected.
