Cuts through the crap
The media could not be loaded. Social media and YouTube is a black hole of uneducated opinions and sensational trends that will be disproved next week. This book is amazing for cutting through all the BS and getting back to common sense and true health. Written in a very easily digestible way and I would highly recommend. The book I got had pretty large print, almost like a workbook, which I enjoyed.

Straightforward, scientific and helpful
No nonsense book that sticks to what the science says. It’s simple, and easy to read, and has a ton of valuable information.

The best fat loss book around
This book is the last word on fat loss. I recently read The Contest Prep Guide and *loved* it. However, this book may be better for a gen-pop audience. I absolutely love how detailed it is. No stone is left unturned. Fat Loss Forever is one of the most applicable, practical books around. The obesity epidemic affects us all, and it’s rare to find a comprehensive, evidence-based, solutions-focused, no-nonsense guide to what we can do about it. I learned a lot, and will be forever changed for having this information at my disposal. Should I ever feel confused about fat loss again at any point in the future, I’d return to this book.As for reviewers saying this is ‘old information’, I could not disagree more. If this information were common knowledge, we wouldn’t have the obesity epidemic. Personally, I love having all this quality information in one resource (rather than having to jump around on Instagram for bites of knowledge.)Layne did a brilliant job on this book and The Contest Prep Guide. If you’re frustrated, desperate, or spinning your wheels then you should definitely read this book.

Watch your portions
I bought this book after listening to Layne Norton on a podcast. The key message is to watch the size of your food portions and stick with an eating plan that you can sustain over a long period of time. I agree with his approach but wish he’d mention more about the importance of fasting. That practice, for me, is a game changer.

One of the best nutrition / fat loss books I've read!
For those who are wanting to learn the NO BS fundamentals of nutrition as it relates to weight loss, this book is a must! It absolutely delivers. Their confidence is contagious, and they meticulously breakdown the nuances of fat loss by delving into metabolism, energy balance, calorie calculation, and so much more. They are highly educated authors as well. For example, Layne Norton has a Phd in Nutritional Sciences and spearheaded leucine research and is a bodybuilding/physique coach. With that said I reiterate, this is an excellent resource to have that cuts through the pseudo-science dominating the internet / social media. Some people give this book a bad review because it may have an editing error. Among the hundreds of things the authors have going on, that's easily forgivable. Mine doesn't have any errors from what I've noticed so far. You can just send it back and have a new one sent if all else fails.

Best fat loss book
I've been lecturing on weight loss of rover 20 years. I've traveled all over the country discussing weight loss and helping my patients lose weight. I've read every book published on weight loss and every research article ever published on weight loss. This book is the single best resource on weight loss that I have found. I've always liked some aspects of one book versus another, but I have never found a complete resource that I have agreed with... until now! This one book is perfect in every regard. I could never previously recommend just one book, but now I can. It's very well researched and cited. Every claim is not only backed by tons of research articles, but also lots of experience helping people lose significant amounts of weight.Wish I could give it 10 stars!

Great information!
I love the content of this book and how the writers take the topic of dieting and make it simple. So often we try to complicate our food intake and the writers just make healthy eating less intimidating.
