so, this absinthe produces no louche whatsoever. and the taste is basically identical to that of sambuca. i paid thirty quid for a extra strength sambuca.seriously, there is no discernible wormwood taste here or anything that could identify this drink as anything but anise. not terrible, but doesn't have any of that wow-factor which other absinthe have.

Good stuff, and at 69% SO much better than the shop bought stuff. Delivery took time, to the UK from Portugal and then around Spain for days, but it was worth waiting for. Have it with a little ice cold water, like Pernod.

Love Grande absente! It's very close to a top absinthe in my opinion. Strong aniseed flavour without any bitter aftertaste. A good all rounder. Be careful though, it is strong! And addictive...

Tastes very differently than what the usual absinth. I would say this tastes betterly than absinth usually does. Also very fast inebriation. Use with caution
