Best thing is it's cheap
Best thing is it's cheap. The included tool was indeed handy for removing the required trim to get at the stereo, nothing fancy but works fine. The connector itself is basic, this is my only issue, it does not have grooves to allow the blue plastic retaining clip on the harness connector to hold the aux input in, so make sure it is seated fully once you've pushed/clipped the harness back on. Worked fine with my cd53 part no 65. 12-6 943 430 once I had done so. Sound is clean with minimal distortion. Plenty loud. Satisfied with this purchase.

Threads need to be longer but works super well.
Works great! Wish the threads were deeper, not much to grab onto after putting it thru the drilled hole. I was able to figure out a modification to make it work.

yes, it worked!
For the very low price this actually works perfect! Very easy to install. (Plenty of vídeos on line.) Used it in my 2004 325xi. Just push the mode button until the head unir says CD-Aux.

Quality!
This is awesome! I had bought a cable from a different company before this and the old one broke. Right away I noticed the quality with this one. It is very long and the connections are perfect. If you are looking for an aux for your BMW E46 with Business Radio, you have found it!

Wasn't sure if it'd work, figured I could spend $11 to see if it would, and it did!
Wasn't sure if my 2003 325i Wagon's radio would accept this or not (it was manufactured in 8/03) but it did! I'm so happy. Now, when I press the 'mode' button, my radio switches between FM, CD, and AUX. Also thanks for including the plastic pry-tool.
