Because it's not a solid piece as I thought (the back is just two bars) it tore one of my scarves when I was pulling it through. I probably won't use it except with very thin, slick scarves; anything with texture is not recommended. I do like the look of it but not very user-friendly. I was disappointed after the other reviews were so great.

The scarf slide can be used with so many of my different colored scarves. Best used with thinner material scarves, not meant for the winter thicker scarves although if would be great to find a slider for these thicker versions as well as holiday themed scarf sliders..Don't always like to "tie" or "knot" the scarf to keep it in place so this is a great alternative. It does have a tendency to move out of place though since there is nothing to keep it securely in place, I have some older sliders that have a type of clasp that when pushed down "holds" the slider in place. Overall though, I still really like this slider, very pretty and easy to use.

I basically don't wear scarves because they make me feel claustrophobic but when I need to wear one this is the perfect solutions--no tying or anthing! It's great!

Matched this with a pretty scarf I bought from Amazon. The gift recipient really liked. The scarf tube was prettier in person than the advertisement.

My finest silk scarves go through it smoothly. Large enough to work with heavier scarves as well. More than happy with it.
