Bottling Auto Siphon

Still picks up a little sediment, so I took a wood bbq skewer stick and rubber banded it to the unit so when it sits in the bottom of the bucket it has a little more height off the bottom by sliding out a inch or so of extra stick. It siphons well and easily but I thing it should come with a longer hose. I would recommend buying the larger unit of this same item, I wish I would of shelled out the extra couple bucks.

I make kombucha and was really excited to get this auto siphon to help make the process easier. Unfortunately the small piece that belongs inside the siphon broke off in its first cleaning, rendering it unable to siphon on it's own.

Don't know why, but this particular siphon broke as I was assembling it. The bend in the tube, where the hose connects, broke as I was attaching the hose. I was able to make the connection, but it broke again shortly after I started using it. Had to go to the local brew supply store to buy a replacement.

I've used this for bottling Kombucha from one and two gallon containers. More control and less mess than poring your batch from the container into a bottle with a funnel. Easy cleanup.

This siphon makes bottling Kombucha a breeze. Simple to operate, it fills your bottles without much distrubance to the scoby, and does so without creating a counter-top mess. It should last a very long time. Recommended.

We have been using it for mead. Granted, the one pump and pour isn't true, it takes a couple pumps to get going. But once it's going, it works perfectly.

Arrived on time. Not happy with product. The 3 feet siphon hose that comes with it is the same size as the siphon outlet pipe so it does not fit. Will not be able to use it unless I buy a bigger hose. Could have been a mistake when packaging but I won't buy from them again.

Works great. Took a little getting used to, but now I have used it to rack 3 batches of wine with no problems
