Why didn't I find this in 2018? Just shows how hype can get an inferior product news coverage whilst a far superior one isn't even on the radar. This swivel case/keyboard embarrasses both the overpriced poorly designed Apple one (that costs almost 3 times as much) and the controversial Brydge keyboards. 1. The top part that the iPad snaps into joins to the keyboard using a swivel mechanism like the innovative Windows CE convertible laptops of over 15 years ago. This means that unlike any other iPad keyboard/case combo, you can swivel the screen (iPad!) around and fold it down over the keyboard (protecting the keyboard in the process) and use the iPad as in regular tablet mode (even if twice as thick). Or 2. In regular 'laptop mode', the keyboard itself has the best keys of ANY mobile keyboard (laptops included) I have ever used. Deep travel, responsive, comfortable to type on. Best of all, the backlighting is outstanding. Either all the same colours (at 3 brightness levels) or multicolour, like on a gaming laptop! 3. The outside of the case/keyboard is a matt finish, fingerprint magnet, but slightly grippy. 4. Charges using USB-C. 5. My only critisism is the lack of a holder for the Apple Pencil, so you have to rely on it magnetically attaching to the iPad, risking it falling off in your bag. (I have inserted a stylus holder from a since disposes of HP convertible laptop that fits nicely into the gap between the iPad and the case. But few people will be able to get hold of something like that.) Anyway, this case/keyboard literally is the first accessory that, in conjunction with iPadOS 13.3 really does finally turn the iPad into a proper computer. I have just migrated entirely off MacOS and Windows and am using Lumafusion, Google Drive, Slack, Shapr3D and other apps to run the show without any issues.And now of course (mid March 2020), Apple have announced the new 2020 iPad Pros and Magic Keyboard, so things can only get better, although even Apple's new funky $300 Magic keyboard lacks the ability for the iPad to lay flat like a tablet or the multicoloured backlighting. Unless you intend to get the Apple Magic keyboard, get this one, you won't have any regrests. A life changer!

After buying myself a new iPad 11 pro (2018 Model) decided to look for a new keyboard for my purchase. I turned to my best pal Amazon and came across this little Beauty. After reading many mixed views on this one (Kept an open mind as always when reading reviews) I took the plunge and opted for this one very glad I did. 1. Case is very sturdy which only adds to the protection. 2 adds a little extra weight. So what see no 1. 3. Very easy to set up instructions CRYSTAL CLEAR!! (A lot of reviewers obviously cant read) 4. Yes it is prone to leaving finger prints on the black cover. Well folks I have two options to rectify this problem. 1 you can buy a box of Mosslain wipes they come individually wrapped so they don’t dry out like most tubs of wipes. The box also contained a wee brush for cleaning key board. 2. This is very Ainal you can wear surgical gloves when using iPad in its case. Doesn’t stop Touch screen working works perfectly. Overall very happy with this case. Would highly recommend. Oh and like me this case can be used with a good quality screen protector.

Arrived yesterday and seems to be very good quality if the weight is anything to go by.The iPad Pro fits well (tip. When inserting the iPad, in landscape put the bottom of the iPad in first, then the rest goes in easy. Don’t try putting the camera edge in first. It won’t go.)Keyboard paired easy, read the instructions, and is very nice to use. Typing this review on it. I’m not sure the backlight function is really necessary but it’s a neat feature which is easily switched off to save the battery.Would have been 5 stars, but I got a US keyboard layout. Not a big deal as shift+3 = £, so from me it’s 4 and three quarters.Compared to the competition, especially the Apple case, this is a very good buy.

I’ve only had this a few days but so far I love it. I like the strong keyboard base which gives a nice weight and stability. The keyboard is lovely. I used to be a typist and always have difficulty finding a keyboard that works accurately for speed typists. This has nice clear key clicks and so far has been enjoyable to type on. Love the colours of the backlight too. What was very noticeable was how much more screen of the ipad was accessible, so much easier on the 11inch pro to swipe to close apps. I am treating the swivel with great respect but it let’s you do what other cases simply cannot and THAT was what I was looking for.

So despite the heavy product weight, it's generally pleasing. I'm happy this will protect my device, whilst increasing functionality when I want to type.However, one major flaw is immediately evident after cleanly inserting the tablet: the power button on the top edge is extremely difficult to access, needing a longer fingernail or a very heavy push to get your finger pad down to it. Making a double-press for things like confirming an app selection or purchase is extremely hit and miss as a result. 80% of attempts lead to my locking the screen!Needs a redesign with a larger aperture or a better graduated bevel to allow fingers to access this vital part of the iPad pro 11 inch.

This is just the same Chinese made case everyone else sells with the Snugg brand printed on. Its also twice the price of other seller's. This is not for the 2018 model ipad pro, its for the 2020 version which doesn't fit correctly and puts a lot of strain on the top corners of the screen and would eventually crack your screen. You can see the top edges twist out where it doesn't fit correctly and the cut out for the camera is square not the slight key hole shape it should be for the 2018 version. Avoid.

The keyboard was delivered on time and it is exactly what i was looking for. Thank you to others that have left reviews. It helped me choose this product.

Used for holding the iPad in bed. Shame it has not got a clip in holder for the pencil.
