Nice little ebook, well worth the money. Whether you choose to follow the instructions in the book to make your own Gelli Plate or use a store bought Gelli plate... there are enough techniques in this book to keep you busy for a good long while! I love that the author teaches us how to make all of our own tools (including the Gelli Plate!!) so that we can create a wide variety of artworks with practically no expense. Tools we learn to make with this book range from free to very inexpensive. As a generous bonus we get a free downloadable workbook and a bonus video with our ebook- it really is quite a value. I found the instructions easy to understand and there were plenty of color photos. Don't forget to download your free workbook once you buy this book- it has lots of nice examples of things to make with your Gelli prints and includes a free template for one of the projects.

I got this book for free. Its paid price is very low. And it is even shorter than the one physical book currently available for the Gelli Plate. But it has good information and a beginner could actually make a start with this book and nothing else except a Gelli Plate. I have no idea if her recipe for a home made plate is good or not, but I would not suggest that anyone make one. If you add up the materials to make a plate you will realize that you aren't really saving any money by making one because the materials probably cost about half of the cost of a bought plate. The made plate might last a year if you make a "permanent" one. The commercial Gelli Plate will last a lifetime with proper care.

This book has some great tips and ideas, but none of the links work. That’s too bad, because I’d like to see more of her ideas and work.

I've been eager to use a gelli plate for months now and this book gives me the confidence I can do it. Mahe Zehra even tells us how to make our own gelli plate and save money. Most of all I like all the layers of color in the sample prints and want to make similar prints. Also, I am ready to use some of the items from around the household, like that stockpiled bubble wrap. Thank you for another encouraging book that gives me more ideas than I'll ever use!

Hard to write a book on this topic since it is so visual, but she did real fine and there are some good ideas and tips here especially for beginners. Kind of got me going on the project and gave me some confidence. I will go back and look again for inspiration. I got the Kindle version and it was fine. Sometimes art books don't do Kindle well, but this was fine.

I loved the many tips to hello printing. There are so many different techniques one can try...and they are all relatively easy. I'm looking forward to practicing some.

The instructions seem simple. Can't wait to try it. The video made the difference. It was hard to visualize what to do while reading the book. Some things could have been defined better, such as the gelli is the mat the paint goes on and the brayer is used to roll the paint on the gelli Mat

Great quick and easy to read book.

This is fine as a reference book for a beginner, but I was looking for something a bit more advanced, which is why I have given it three stars, not more. There isn't much I couldn't find by just researching on the Internet. So for me it was a bit disappointing, but fine if you want a recipe for making a gelli plate and some starting ideas.

Interesting book but in my opinion not good on kindle I wish I had sent for a good old fashion paper version. I do not like the photographic images on kindle and will not be buying any more craft books in this format. My star rating relates to the kindle version and is not as high as it would have been had a purchased a 'real' book. Pictures and photographs need to be seen in colour.

This is written in a friendly and conversational style, which makes you instantly warm to the author and feel confident to try her techniques. Lots of fab photos and useful information. Fabulous!

Brilliant little starter book for a fantastic and inspiring hobby. Get ideas, tips and techniques to get started and even the recipe to make your own plate. Will be promoting this across the board. B
