Started melting after 4 months
Used it for 4 months and it was fine. Very portable. However it started heating up a lot during charging enough for me to only charge it while I was in the same room. Then it started to melt below the contact. Then it stopped working. Feeling like a fire hazard so low scores. Lasted 4 months so low scores. SURFACE PRO 4 i7

Works Great
Couldnt get my Surface Laptop computer to charge so crossed my fingers and ordered a new charger hoping it wasn't the computer. My new charger came super fast , is nice and small and works great. I would definitely recommend this product & this company.

It works!
Great size, long cord, has a velcro strap to tie up the cord and most importantly it charges my Surface Pro 6. The magnet could be a little stronger but otherwise works fine!

So much better than the stock one. All the weight is at the socket rather than hanging off a desk or what ever.

It works!
So my original Surface 7 charger died a few weeks after the warranty lapsed. Go figure. Microsoft wanted $80 for a new one which was a little rich for my blood. So I bought this.Good: It's small and light, it charges my Surface 7, and it does so for a very reasonable price.Not so Good: It gets quite hot when the pulling significant load (like when you first plug the surface in on a low battery). You can also hear the buzz of the transformer in a quiet room. Not bad, mine is next to my bed and it doesn't keep me up.The Unknown: I have no idea what its longevity will look like. I'm a little worried because of how hot the unit runs under heavy load. Also the plug is non-removeable so when the charging cable fails, you will need to buy a new unit entirely.

Better than the original
Like this one much better, the power brick on the old one would hang off my desk or just dangle in midair while charging, now the power brick is at the outlet, Microsoft, take a look at this design dummies...
