Legend 4 Classic Bass Guitar (4 String, Clear Gloss Natural)

Spector Legends are one of the best basses in their price point. Very nice feeling neck and the sculpted body really feels nice and comfy against your body. The only thing that could use some upgrading are the pickups, but they're fine like they are. All in all a great bass.

The only thing I have against this baby is that it's built in Korea. But the specs and oversight is by Stuart Spector himself. If you like the feel of this fine base, upgrade it yourself by installing the Tone Pumps yourself. As this has the Junior Tone Pumps. You can take it one step further with upgrading the pickups to boot. The whole job is simple and will save you hundreds. A very nice inexpensive bass and excellent for practice.

I was turned on to Spector by a friend who is sponsored by them. I've been a die-hard Rickenbacker and Warwick player for 30 years. The Legend 4 is so far better than any other bass under a grand, it's no contest. It's ergonomic, it's clean, the action is fast, the sound is just plain buttah. My $2K Warwick went up for sale the day after. Since the Legend 4 I've purchased a couple other Spectors, but I always go back to my Legend.
