Thermor Bios Indoor Hygrometer with Bios Comfort Scale (White, 4.5-Inch x 7.25-Inch x 1.25-Inch)

An easy to read, and so far reliable, hygrometer. We recently began humidifying two rooms of our home for health reasons, and wanted to be sure we kept the humidity in a good range. Each room requires a different amount of humidity, so to test the accuracy of these monitors I put them side by side for a day in the largest room, and they were within a couple of degrees of each other... acceptable for the price paid. Depending on several factors (outside temperature, outside humidity, amount of accessory heat in the room), we find ourselves adjusting the fan settings on our humidifiers quite a bit to acquire a consistently mid-range humidity. This would not be possible without the read-outs from these little monitors. They are rather inconspicuous, and have a sturdy, built-in stand. Recommended.

Does what it was designed to do. Display rather small in scale, otherwise, a nice unit.

needle doesn't seem to move ???

It does the job. Inexpensive. Seems accurate. I don't have a reference unit to prove, but I'm not running a lab here. I use it to keep track of the performance of my two April Aire units. Happy with this purchase.

It's junk, don't buy it. Spend a little more and get something better. This is my second one, had to send the first one back, didn't work at all.

It works well and provides great information. My only comment will be that it is hard to see on dimmed light. We are so used to LED screens and their brightness/ contrast that is hard to go back.
