The Flash: Season Zero (2014-2015) Vol. 1 Kindle & comiXology

I've watched all 3 seasons of the flash tv series. It was interesting to see the characters in a comic story. It does not seem to relate to the tv series story lines, but has the same characters.

This was for my Boyfriend and he loves the show. And now he can't just the comic down he loves it.

I love all CW DC shows but The Flash is my favorite. They had this digital series of 12 comics having few of the flash's adventures beyond the TV screen. This book is the combined edition of those 12 comics and there are total 7 stories in the book ranging from 10 to 80 pages.The two stories with 80 pages are of decent length and probably they are the best among all. I specially loved the suicide-squad introduction in Flash via the story "King Shark". Apart from these all the other stories are decent enough but in my opinion they required more pages to create a better impact except "Black star". That was as good a story as it could be in 10 pages, I really liked that one. "Melting point" and "Ice and Fire" are two other interesting stories, rest 2 are just average.Illustration by Phil and Marcus is quite good throughout the series. The best thing about the artwork is though they had to follow the TV series artist still they managed to create the characters in their own style, which is quite refreshing. it gives the graphic novel a new dimension.Overall if you are a fan of Flash (either on screen or on pages) you should read it for sure. Not something extra-ordinary but still it's worth it.
