Great for holding broken lead of pastel pencils
I have searched around for a while and this is just the right size for holding the broken lead from pastel pencils. Anyone who uses pastel pencils will know the difficulty of sharpening them. When sizeable pieces of the pastel core break off, you can simply grip them with this size of mechanical pencil (the size is quite precise). Also, when you get to the end of the pencil, where it can't be sharpened any further, the wooden case can be stripped off and again the remainder of the lead can be used.
