I'll preface my brief comments that my interest is in root cellaring construction, and I bought both this and Mike & Nancy Bubel's book.BOTH ARE SUPERB!! You will not go wrong with either of them, and I HIGHLY recommend, if you have some spare change in your pockets, to get both! OK, if I were pressed to recommend only one, I would recommend Mike & Nancy's . . . but as soon as I say that, Julie's is superb, too. The Bubel is an all-around complete root cellaring book that also includes several chapters on construction; the Fryer book is a complete construction book that also includes all aspects of root cellaring. You see what I mean? :) They are both excellent!Get both. I promise you that you will not regret it!Happy root cellaring!

Will be reviewing this for when I get my farm later this year. Definitely plan to build a good root cellar.Product received in good shape and on time promised.

I got this book and found it to be a very good read and a great resource.There are lots of tips and tricks from design all the way to using the completed structure.The layout of the book was very good. Makes referencing different sections easy.
