Watercolour Paper A5

Cracking A5 size cotton paper block. Great for fine detailing as hot pressed. Will also be purchasing this in cold press option. Good value for money.

Very luxurious paper , i can see the difference from other paper it absorbs the watercolour well . a very good quality paper .

This has a lovely leather cover. The block of paper is fixed together with black glue so solid that it is extremely difficult to separate a sheet of paper off without trashing it. I even tried using solvent to dissolve the glue a bit to make it easier. Palette knife or credit card had no effect is separating the sheets whatsoever. I ended up using a craft knife, and damaging all the edges. Lovely outer cover but a total waste of money.

Excellent for carrying around and has a substantial weightiness, so is easy to keep hold of it when perched anywhere precariously!

The paper is very good quality. I found it hard to separate the glued paper though, and didn’t get a card separator. Also, I found a bank card a bit clumsy to use. However - if you have a stitch ripper it is a lot easier to manoeuvre without hacking at it. For anyone who knows nothing about these implements, they are very cheap and can be bought from haberdashery stores, sewing shops, Amazon etc.

Do not buy this block of watercolour paper. The paper itself is lovely to paint on but getting the paper out of the book is a terrible experience. The glue of the block holding paper in is way to strong and leaves horrible black glue all around the edges of the paper. It's so difficult to remove from the block the paper rips and tears. I ended up ripping a painting I was hoping to gift and had to scrap it. In the end I took them all out and will have to use all the paper as scrap or practice because you really wouldn't want to give it to anyone. Very disappointing for the price.
