I've been using cheap Dollar Shave razors for years, thinking that a razor is just a razor, but boy was I wrong! This razor is waaaay better. One swipe and it's a perfect shave, and it has moisturizer built in so my skin feels so soft and smooth afterward.

I bought this razor as an upgrade from my previous one, and the refills fit perfectly on my travel‑size Gillette handle. The Gillette Venus Platinum metal handle has a solid, premium feel that offers much better control than lighter plastic versions. The razor glides smoothly, and the flexible head makes it easy to get a close, comfortable shave without irritation. The cartridges snap on securely, and the overall design feels durable and well made. I also appreciate the included shower/wall mount for convenient storage. Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Love the heaviness of the razor

I recently started using the Gillette Venus Extra Smooth Platinum razor, and I’m so impressed! I have coarse hair and needed something that would leave my legs incredibly soft. This razor delivers a super smooth shave, even with my sensitive skin and regular spray tans. I shave about three to five times a week, and the shave is by far the smoothest I’ve experienced. The handle is comfortable and easy to grip, making the whole process more pleasant. I change the blade every ten days to keep up with my shaving routine and maintain my spray tan, and it’s worth it for the consistently great results. Since switching to this razor, I haven’t had any irritation or ingrown hairs, which is amazing. I give this product a solid 10/10 and highly recommend it to others. Great product for the money. Always get the 5 blade.

I’ve tried other razors (most recently Flamingo) and they just aren’t as good - they frequently cut and irritate my skin. This razor is AMAZING! So smooth, no irritation. I’ll be sticking with Venus. Almost removed one star because the photo currently shows a holder to hang the razor on but this set DOES NOT include a holder - a little frustrating. But the razor is too good, so I’m keeping all 5 stars. I think this set is very reasonably priced too.

These are great for a super close, nick free shave. Leaves my legs and under arms feeling smooth as silk. I do not get shaving bumps after and have not cut myself with them.
