ATN X-Sight-4k Pro Smart Day/Night Scope w/Full HD Video rec, Smooth Zoom, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is a great piece of equipment. It took a bit of getting used to, but overall it is more than was expected. In night mode w/ the infrared emitter it works exceptionally well. Its capabilities are so much greater than a FFP scope, which was the preferred purchase. For the price it is an excellent deal. The vendor delivered on schedule, do recommend them.

The X-Sight 4K blew me away with the quality! The night vision and night recording are great but the day-mode video is just incredible. The 1-shot sight-in worked great and it holds its zero. Excellent product.

Love the scope all around, the only dislike I have is the compass I have been unable to get it working great scope for just getting into the night vision scopes!

For the money , this scope exceeded my expectations. Works great out to 100 yards,(that's as far as I have used it).

The scope has great features and could potentially be a great setup, however it's not reliable. The firmware is still not stable (FW Ver: 3.1.11.480). First time at the range it was going well until I turned the scope off. Then it would not turn back on. When I got home I worked with it some more and determined that the scope was powering up, but the video was dead. Doing some research this is a common problem. ATN has a procedure on their website to reload and reset the scope, however it requires downloading a special program to a PC (WIN10 only) and reloading the camera SOC firmware (an '.ELF' binary file provided on their website). This is a fairly technical and tricky procedure, not something you can do in the field. However this did get my scope working again. If this would have happened on a hunt, I would be dead in the water. This is not acceptable, therefore I would not recommend this scope to my friends or family. There is also a bug in the RAV (recoil activated video) feature. If you fire a follow-up shot before the video finishes from the first shot it will not record any video at all or just create a corrupted (0 size) file. RAV is also not explained well in the manual, for it to work you must activate the RAV widget AND then press the record (right button on top) to enable/arm the recording. Just don't fire again until the timer expires or you will get nothing... :( IF this scope was more reliable, the features are very powerful. The ballistics calculator and the ability to have multiple profiles is great. I setup several loads on my rifle, including a subsonic round. Just set your range, and even with the subs you can drop the round right where you want it. Then change profiles and load in your favorite supersonic hunting round and you are ready to go... Again, great potential but firearm components MUST be reliable first.

I’ve had this scope now for a couple of weeks and I can’t honestly say I ain’t had a single problem. A lot of people on here have had bad luck and maybe I just got one of the good ones. I have no regrets buying this. I’ve been hundreds of rounds down range while using this scope. Everything works except two things. When your zooming in and recording the microphone dosnt not work but this is a well known problem and for me dosnt not seem to bother me to much. Also the app that goes with this scope that allows you to connect your phone is junk. Yea that was a huge bummer but I don’t hunt with anyone and getting the recording and photos off it are not hard. If you have been looking at this for a while I recommend you ignore the negative stuff and just give it a shot. The worst thing that will happen is you send it back and your money is fully refunded. Big deal. I love it I got what I paid for and now everyone wants to shoot my gun.

I had used the scope for three weeks prior to it failing. All worked normally until I actually needed it to shot a animal. I bought it and spent time learning how to set it up and verify that all the features worked that I wanted. After weeks of using its features and testing it on the range indoors and out I was satisfied. Upon arriving at my yearly hunt and double checking the zero I noticed the scope lost proper color contrast in the day mode. It seems this is a stuck IR filter. The scope also dropped the ability to do recoil video. It would still :”take” photo but would lock up completely when trying to see it it recorded a photo or video. The Compass stopped working also and would not reset. It was extremely difficult to see the target with the odd colors. No pictures or video was taken. I did get lots of blank videos and had the audio recording. It basically ruined my hunting vacation. If you need a scope I would not trust your vacation to this thing.

This optic is fantastic for the price point. I have had zero issues with it - it performs as advertised. The setup and firmware processes are well-documented and easy to follow. Faris at ATN was super fast in responding to my questions via email.
