Malfunction
I am not aware if it is the manufacture's fault, my fault or due to the restrictions Apple placed in authenticating different parts of the iPhone but the port did not want to transmit charge from the port and the phone died due to the port not being able to charge the phone. I was not able to receive data from the phone as well. And when I replaced the port back to the original one, it did not improve the condition of the phone and I had to pay my customer for a new iPhone. Very upset.
