Q: what is the distance between the hot cold inlets

If you connect using pedestals onto bath surface it is 18cms. If fitting direct to wall it is 15cms spacing. Ok. Regards..

Q: I bought this product on 31 March, the water supply valve has become very stiff and moves in a clicky motion, is this normal?

No, it should be smooth in operation. Inside the top is a plastic coupler that works the overide button, I suspect it has jammed, mine did the same. If you are not bothered about the flow limiter/overide button working I think it can be removed. Mine did this and when I contacted Deva they sent free of charge a new silver top and plastic insert. In the mean time I made a tempory repair with emery paper to increase the gap beetween the insert and the inside of the top and some "waterproof" greese. The top is removed in the same way as the other side (see instructions in original box). Dont forget you have a warranty on your TLV106 and I found Deva very helpfull.

Q: Which is the hot water side, looking from the front

Hi- the left side is water strength (on/off). You regulate the water temperature on the right side- nozzle down is hot, moving nozzle up is colder.
