This heat cap is exactly what I was looking for - I like t deep condition my hair twice a month, but I hate having to sit under the dryer to do it. To avoid the drier, I have been sleeping in my condition, so I was looking for a heat cap that actually held heat for 30-45 minutes. Pop this baby in the microwave for 2-3 minutes and you have almost an hour of warmth for your hot oil treatment! I was afraid this may be heavy or tight on my head, but it’s not! The cap is lightweight and the elastic does not leave a print on my forehead.

This is exactly what I needed and I didnt know it. I have two dryer hoods that I use to heat my hair while I'm deep conditioning, but I hate using them so much. They're too hot, and it requires me to be attached to my dryer, which means I'm attached to the outlet so I'm immobile for 40 mins. This cap allows me to move freely while deep conditioning my hair! I heat mine in 3, 45 secs intervals, flipping in between, and that sucker is HOT afterwards. It does last 20 mins but your hair is still warm underneath. For all you ladies out there, get this!

I use this cap to deep condition and oil my curly hair. It works well. I like the microwaving to heat option. The only thing that may be a downside is this is quite small. I have a small head so it will fit me. I don't think it would fit an adult with an average or large size head. The other thing that is nice about this cap is that it holds the mint smell of my oil in. My husband is extremely sensitive to scents. I put a disposable cap on under this one to keep the oil off the material. A fabulous bonus is that is this cap keeps the smell on the inside. I can walk around the house without triggering his sensitivity. The inside of the cap smells very minty so I know that it is the cap that is containing the smell.

I really like the concept of this cap. Seemed to be filled with a buckwheat or flax material in individually sewn pockets throughout but the cap itself is too small for someone with a lot of hair. It helped with giving that "heated" deep conditioning feeling to hair but I had some struggle keeping it heated for long. I heated in the microwave for 2 minutes flipping it inside out each time for even heat distribution at least 4 times within my usual hour worth of deep conditioning session. But I still enjoyed the end result. This size might work for smaller younger children in covering their whole head or a person with less hair. But I only need it for once every two weeks so I'm happy regardless. Seems pretty durable and would last as long as you take care of it. They sent a plastic reusable shower cap along with it so as not to get product on the fabric and prevent product buildup or just even having to wash the cap unnecessarily. That plastic shower cap was also a bit too small for my lengthy hair which rests at middle of my back. I'd still use it as needed.

I got this for my daughter who was ready to cut her hair due to the damage caused by over processing. She used a deep conditioning treatment along with the cap and was happy with the results. Her hair came out soft and looking so much better after the 1st use even though there's still alot of dryness to the ends. She said the hardest part was getting the microwave on the best power setting and timing to keep the cap safe and still heat it up enough.

This product has lasted me 6 weeks. The fabric is very thin, and does not withstand the heat of the grain inside it. It also isn't thick enough to contain the smell of the grain. I was using it with hair curlers, and it made my hair stink of that grain, and any drawer I kept the cap in. I was microwaving it a few times a week for 2.5-3 minutes and eventually, the grain has burned through the material, and now there is a large hole in the center of the cap. I tried to sew the hole, but the fabric was so thin that it was coming apart with every stitch, so the product is unusable. I bought this cap to replace my old one that has lasted me for over 5 years.

I've been using this for a few months now and I love it. I use it every time I deep condition my hair or use a hair mask. I only get about 20-25 minutes of heat but I think I'm pretty happy given the price of it. Maybe in the future I'll get the actual hot head brand but for now, this works fine.

Waste of my money. It fit my head, which was a shock, but it doesn’t stay warm. After heating for a minute and a half, there is a burning smell. This smell does not go away. I was still smelling it hours after using it.
