Machete

The first day I received this machete I easily split open 7 coconuts with just a few chops and sliced down a thick branch holding over 50 bananas in just one swipe. This tool has exceeded my expectations. It is super heavy with an excellent grip. It feels solid in my hand and the case is a very high quality, I can tell it will last for many, many years. disapointed in blade thickness

VERY SHARP UPON RECEIVING

26" total, in the included sheath. Metal blade is a full 18", handle is 6.5x3.5. Weighs over 23 ounces.It's not a Forged In Fire championship blade, but at this price it's a good bargain.Nit-picky problems that TOGETHER knock off one star for me: - I need XXL gloves, and this handle still feels a bit too large. Someday I may grind off the plastic edges so my hand wraps fully around the grip. - as others have said, it's not that sharp and it has a burr from quick edge grinding - the sheath does not positively attach, so if you throw it in the back and bounce it around the blade may be exposed - chopping 1 inch dried bamboo, handheld at an angle, did mark the blade edge (which probably means it will deform instead of chipping, which is safer) - the saw is not filed or sharpened, just shaped teeth stamped out (which I may tape over and not actually use)

I purchased this particular machete based on other customer reviews. We had a lot of palmetto to cut before getting land cleared. It just plain didn't work. Even after using my sharpening store, it didn't do the job it should. Borrowed surveyor's machete to see if it was me, and it did a fine job.

nice sturdy steel. very sharp blade. ergo handle. cuts like butter. sheath is very sturdy as well. serrated edge is just ok.

I wanted to try a Meyerco machete for some time now. I saw that this machete was roughly half price so I figured I would pick it up before it jumps back up in price. I'm glad I did because this machete is no joke. It is very solid with more weight than all the other machetes I own. It came sharp out of the package, I took it out on my balcony and chopped some small twigs and it cut them in two with ease. I also tested the saw and it works very well. Most of the saw backs have straight teeth. This one has them going slightly left and right which creates an awesome cut. Best saw that I have tested on a machete. The only downside would be that the sheath doesn't strap the handle down so if you turn it upside down, it most likely will fall out. Other than that, what an excellent buy.

Doesn't do the job for you, but it sure makes the job way easier. Good product for sure. Been taking a beating and surviving well

Not bad seems to be a good machete I haven't try it outdoor yet but like the handle doesn't slip when you swing around and fair sheath last you for long time
