Detour them from biting them off
Nifty little things. Def keeps the cat from clawing the couch. I would encourage play after install at least for a little bit while the glue sets.

Depends on the cat...
I bought these for my 8 month old kitten since she loves to scratch up everything, especially furniture. I bought these on July 27 and probably got them 4 or 5 days later. I put them on that very day I received them and waited until all but one came off. I just reapplied them yesterday (Sept 29). Maybe her nails grow out slower than my other cat's nails or the glue is tougher, because I was amazed at how long these lasted. My other cat will get rid of the nail caps in 2 weeks or so. Maybe he's just more efficient at pulling them off. I do wish these came with an extra glue tube and maybe a couple extra nail caps in case a few are lost quickly. Other than that, I will be reordering these nail caps.

Maybe I just got a bad batch...
How long do they last? I have bought this brand in the past for both my cats, however, this time around, the caps just have not stayed on. The caps fell off after maybe a week, and the cat wearing the caps wasn't even chewing/pulling on them, as he has gotten use to caps. They just fell off after normal activity. I'm not sure if I received a bad batch or what, but they were not good this time.Is the description accurate? For the most part, yes. I got these caps for my 8 month old kitten, and they fit him fine (though I will be needing to get him a larger size next time). They are shaped just fine, and they are purple. However, they are a lighter color then I was expecting. Is it worth the price? No. I am paying close to $10 for 20 caps that wouldn't even stay on for longer then a week.

Super satisfied!
Love these little guys! I recommend these caps to everyone I know. They were an amazing solution to my cats clawing my furniture. I refuse to have my cats declawed but I didn't want my house destroyed. These were a lot easier to put on than I expected. My cats didn't seem to mind them at all and they didn't irritate their skin or anything. (*PRO TIP*I got each cat a different color so I knew who was missing one if they fell off.) I have 6 indoor cats between my roommate and myself and we will be needing some more soon so I will be back!

Its not purple. Its magenta.
I've tried all different brands of these for my furball but these I have to say have worked the best. They aren't the hard plastic covers that a lot of them are, they're soft and borderline squishy. In two weeks the cat has only gotten 2 off and they're working really well. Now for the bad about these. THEYRE FRIGGEN PINK. It says PURPLE, alas they are not. I thought they looked a little off in the photo, I assumed that they were still true to the description. Nope.Overall still a wonderful product, even when my male cat looks a bit feminine.

These things are a wonderful alternative to declawing a cat
These things are a wonderful alternative to declawing a cat. They are relatively easy to apply, and they also add a bit of color and "personality" to your feline. I would not recommend trying to apply these to any iritable cats; though, as it does require holding the animal somewhat still while you apply them. The set up time for the glue on these is aproximately five minutes, so I usually just brush or pet the cat for a bit while it sets, and then keep an eye on them for a bit after to prevent them from pulling them off imediately. They seem to last for about a month or so before falling off, or when the cat's claws naturally shed.

Furniture Saver
I have an 8 month old male cat, and 2 kittens (9 weeks old). These are easy to put on and eventually fall off as the claws grow out. My oldest cat hates for is feet to be messed with, so I have to put on one cover at a time while he is sleeping. Other than my troublesome cat, they are wonderful at protecting my furniture against claw marks. At first, your cat might nip at his claws and/or shake his paw, but once the "newness" wears off, he will become desensitized to the covers and forget they are on.

Pretty paws for a pretty kitty
If you need visual aids to help you get these on your felines paws, just search Youtube for 'soft paws' or 'kitty nail caps'. There are tons of videos of how to get these on your cats feet.Medium fit my Siamese's nails perfectly. If you need help sizing, you can contact your vet and ask what they would recommend. Most adult cats will be a medium. If you have a big kitty like a Maine Coon, or just a big beefy cat that is over 12lbs and it's healthy weight, go with the large caps.
