Ansen Tools AN-144 8-Inch Line Wire Crimping and Stripping Tool

This is a well-made tool, nicely machined and cleanly marked. I also like the double-layer handle, bespeaks quality. The bolt cutters operate properly and cut cleanly, the primary reason I purchase this particular unit.My one concern is the extreme stiffness of the pivot when new, quite difficult to open and close. I have been "working" it back and forth to loosen it up with some success, also a bit of oil helps. I'm sure it will eventually be easy enough to move.There are several truly-junk tools out there that claim to be similar in features. This one is made so much better, and the hardened steel ensures that it will keep working well for years to come.

Doesn't contain every size of stripper i.e. CAT6 individual wires are too small. However, the cutter portion works well for these wires with gentle hands. All blades are sharp and accurate. The clamping action is a little stiff at first but is smoothing out with use.

Decent quality and they stand up to the task.

This is a very handy tool. I am able to cleanly strip wires. It also has a crimping feature which I use for electrical ground crimping. This is a sturdy tool, one that I will use for many years.

Invaluable I use it everyday for work. Strips and crimps wires very well. It also cut almost everything.

not that great, hand was hurting after using it for a while. although it does get the job done.

Sturdy and versatilve for crimping and stripping wires. Lots of connectors of varying sizes that can be crimped.
