My compost container gets overloaded very fast and our compost pile is pretty far from the house. It's my kid's job to take out the compost and they don't like it because it spills along the way plus they have to bring back the mucky compost container. My kids toss the bags into the pile without spillage and without carrying back a gross, dirty container. I also can compost from work now. I put all the apple cores, banana peels, leftover salad items, etc. into a Second Nature Bag, then tie it and throw it into the compost pile when I get home. I am using these compostable bags for dirty kitty litter. I do like the idea that they will break down in the environment sooner than plastic.They are plenty large enough handle the waste from several kitties. Highly recommended.

I love these little biodegradable plastic bags for scooping out cat litter, and disposing of non-recyclable food scraps, coffee grounds, etc. on a daily basis and not putting this stuff in my regular trash bin, where it would have a tendency to sit and start smelling bad. To me they are just about perfect. I did put hot coffee grounds in one day by itself and the heat caused the bottom of the bag to fail. But that's it. That's the only problem I've had.

I like going green and feel better using these bags when needed. We recently found a garbage carrier that handles organic recycling. These bags are perfect for our airtight container in our kitchen. So glad we were already using these bags.

I use these bags to store my produce from my CSA which just comes in a big box. I don't like leaving them in the fridge without a bag, i feel like they dry and shrivel. So I use these bags then keep them after I use them as compost bags. I like them better then the green compostable bags for composting, because the other ones always seemed like they could hold a lot less before giving out and leaking. But, I can see how the green bags probably biodegrade faster.

I got these because I have a lot of small trash cans around the house, and I really want to cut down on the plastic I'm putting in the landfill. I asked my housekeeper to watch them in case they leak. She told me today that she's very happy with them, that they are strong and do not leak at all. I'm very happy with them.
