I waited and waited for this book to be released...and the wait was definitely worth it....talk about starting out with a bang!....The towns people may not see it or want to see it, but Big Daddy is doing things in their best interest....I like how Big Daddy cares for his family and tries to keep them in line. I really he has strong and unshakeable faith in Jenay. The incident with Donald's insinuations about Jenay....loved how he put it all out in the air with Jenay present and called Donald on his BS...Golden!.....And how when Donald confessed to him his physical issues and he gave him loving support...Golden!...And the cake incident....How sweet it was! LOL...Jenay gets accolades too for her staunch loving support of Charles and her stepping up to the role of stepmother....Loved that she was vocal in her confidence in Donald's innocence....Jenay's parting words to Charles's EX....hilarious!...And Charles handling the snobs at the Country Club----still laughing about his conversation with them!...So glad that Charles and Jenay will have the teenage girls in their family....looking forward to how the girls being in their lives impact the Sinatra men....I hated that Brent was hurt by Denise...but saw it coming...it was stated a few times how young and immature Denise was....still knowing that she was expecting Brent's child and did what she did....yeah she needed a head smack for that...however...I think Denise and Brent both need time to mature before they can have a lasting relationship....and what can be said about Robert...he should be kissing the ground Brent walks on for saving his stupid behind!....and Tony....love, love, love Tony!....He reminds me of Sal!....Poor Charles betrayed by two trusted friends.....I had an inkling about Mary when she gave the excuse for being late...I thought hmmm....but I felt like there were more that two people involved in betraying Charles so next book....won't be too surprised....It will take more than two or four people to bring down Big Daddy Sinatra! Lol....Miss Monroe-Thank you so much!...And I really hope book 3 is nearing completion! : )

In this installment of the Sinatras ,we begin with a bomb and end with a bang. this is a really good read and I like it a lot,the drama, suspense, and mystery along with a love story beautiful. Charles and Jenay are living there life and loving it. Together with his sons and the beautiful baby daughter,Bonita the feel on top of the world, but trouble is on the horizon .It seems the good citizens of Jericho,Maine are not taking to kindly to Jenay ,not to mention her friends Norm and Denise who arrive in Maine to work at the Bed &Breakfast. Add to that the movers and shakers of the town come to Charles and issue and ultimatum to Big Daddy,that has him seeing red and making a shocking move of his own. Meanwhile one of his sons is taken with a beautiful young waitress who just happens to be Jenays friend and their relationship may lead to some unnecessary drama for everyone. If that's not enough both Charles and Jenay have to deal with their scheming ex's who have plans of their own for the Sinatras,all of this while trying to find the person responsible for trying to kill his wife,their is never a dull moment in the life of Charles "Big Daddy" Sinatra.This story was very interesting and had me hooked! It had a little mystery to it which I loved! I thought I knew who was responsible for trying to kill Jenay,but in true Mallory Monroe fashion, you just never know until the end. The love and loyalty Charles and Jenay shared was beautiful. this book more that her others had me more interested in the secondary characters,the brothers interaction was hilarious and at times heartfelt,I found myself wanting to know more about them and I have a feeling we will get more of them in future books and I can't wait! Great job!

“That’s a conclusion, tell me what she did” My favorite line from Book 1. I have fallen behind in my reading due to the birth of my 3rd child about a year ago, and I am slowly coming out of my new mommy haze. To my surprise Mallory had started a new series with the Sinatras. Lucky for me I was having a lull at work and I brought the 1st installment to start on my lunch break. Well there went the rest of my afternoon. In short order I finished book 1 that same day and have since purchased and finshed books 2 and 3. Yes finished each book in a day, needless to say I am now behind at work but it was worth it!!Seductive, action packed, lustful, hypnotic I mean I cannot think of enough words to describe Charles Sinatra. A long time Mallory Monroe fan, I thought no one could replace Reno in my eyes but Charles is giving Reno a run for his money in my eyes. I loved Jenay’s strength, her development as a character, and eventually Charles’ wife. I was easily addicted to Charles’ temperament, the way he handled his business in and out of the bedroom and his unflinching, unrepentant love for Jenay. Charles became a new man. I loved the sons storyline as well, they are a mixed up bunch but what family isn’t and I love that Charles is showed as a loving devoted family man. I am elated and very well pleased with this series. I have a lot of catching up to do. Cannot wait for book 4. I do see several similarities to the Gabrini’s but I am hoping that the Sinatra’s continue down their own separate and distinct course.

The story line was a great follow-up; BUT a good and effective proof reader would have taken my rating to a 5 star review. I had to go back too often to re-read sections to make sure what the author meant as well as character names changing in one paragraph (such as Denise changing to Jenay when Jenay was nowhere around). I was torn between a two a two star or a three star rating. I will read the next book in the series, however if the editing has not improved I will have to give up on Charles and Jenay. The 3 star rating is only for the story

I am loving this new series by Miss Monroe.I love the relationship between Janay and Charles. I like that fact that he did not let her go to Richmond on her own he was right there next to her and was able to handle that rubbish that went down. I like it that they are honest with each other about everything and Big Daddy is not afraid to call his sons out on their rubbish.What is Denise thinking???? That girl has demonstrated to me that she is dumb woman for someone who went to university!!!!!!On to book 3.

Oh this just gets better and better. I love this author's work any way but only now getting round to reading this series from the start. Not sure why I waited sooo long. Really is good and I recommend.

Another wonderfully drama filled, action packed tale by MM she never disappoints. I loved catching up with the Sinatra's and boy does this one begin with a bang! I can't wait for the next installment to see how they're going to get on. Especially what happens with Denise there is something wrong with that one. Another great book from Mallory. Excellent plot, well developed characters and a little humour here and there.Looking forward to the next instalment.
