Enjoyable daily
Flavorful aroma. Good introduction of green tea for anyone interested in green teas with less bitterness in aftertaste.

Something new to try.
The combination of toasted rice and green tea was new to me. I found the tea to be delicious, the aroma was pleasant and it's worth trying.

BEST quality, BEST brand
Ippodo is the premier tea house/tea producer of Kyoto, Japan. I was born and raised in Japan so I know that this is a superb brand. Give it a try. And please..... don't put sweeteners in Japanese tea!!!

Great sipping tea.
This is a great sipping tea by Ippodo, designed to be savored in small quantities. It's also nice being able to order this from Amazon now.

not the same quality as what it used to be
I first tried ippodo's genmaicha back in 2016 and back then it had a fantastic and very strong rice flavor. Used to be very hard to find in the states and I only got it on vacations in Japan. Nowadays the flavor is barely there even though I prepared it the same way. Same goes for the tea itself... Don't know what happened but their product quality has gone down!!

Excellent flavor. Just wish there was a little more for the price.

Love drinking this before bed
This is pretty good genmaicha, a bit milder tasting than I’d prefer but that’s to be expected of bancha. I find the provided brewing directions to be right on for the best taste. I experimented different ways of making it a bit more strong but found all results to be not so good.
