Shorin Ryu Seibukan Paperback – January 1, 2012

This is a must have book first for Seibukan karate-ka; giving important and thorough history of our lineage, kihon, kata and ippon kumites, etc. Second, I think this will also be of interest to karate-ka of other styles to learn more about Seibukan, Kyan Sensei, and the Shimabukuro family’ karate. It has hundreds of pictures, some historical and others of Hanshi Zenpo Shimabukuro and Sensei Zenshun Shimabukuro showing technique. It’s a truly amazing book on Shorin Ryu Seibukan.

I train in a branch of Kyan 's karate and it's great to have all the Kata stories in one book. Great work by Shimabukuro and Smith Sensei.

Very good book. As a former student, it is a good reference. It helped refresh my memory from over twenty years ago.

This is an amazingly in-depth book. Each time you read it there is more to discover. This is a must have for any serious martial artist.
