Zoom is similar to usual magnifying glass.
Yes, no problem to connect if you use the same type USB as this camera has. By the way my new Samsung phone and tablet have different type USB and to use the adapter is not very convenient. Picture is bright. I think that zoom is approximately 5-7, so no point to try to make a photo of any insect as it is on advertisements in Facebook.I put 5 stars to the quality of picture etc, but 2 for the microscope itself. Probably I put it to the free-cycle...

Standard USB microscope with good zoom facility
Pretty standard USB microscope, virtually identical to all the others on offer. The only serious disadvantage is the "rubberised" coating of the bodywork, which will quickly deteriorate into a sticky surface, as my previous two USB microscopes have done.

Inexpensive but of reasonable quality.
My grandson loved the product and enjoyed it and the slides I also bought at the time. An inexpensive microscope of reasonable quality.

Perfectly usable with a little customising.
Works well but a little fiddly and unstable. Needs a weighted base. Objects to be viewed need to be put inside the transparent capsule at the end of the microscope.
