Water Retension
I tried it out as soon as I got it I put it in my backpack and brought the hose out to the clip on my pack strap, it works fine, just a small leak when you open it but this kind of bite valve always has a small leak.

Leaking and nonfunctional on arrival
Seemed like a great deal and a decent enough bladder for my camelbak upon arrival. Was fine while washing, but upon using it for the first time at a festival I discovered that the bladder was leaking, getting myself and everyone behind me wet. After coming home, I found the bottom of the bladder was leaking whenever the bladder was under pressure or even just full with water, basically rendering it useless. I double checked the seals and made sure everything was as tight as possible, but to no avail.Lesson learned: don't try to cheap out, because you might get something cheap with poor quality control in return.

Good Value and performance with just a few minor complaints
Good value bladder versus going name brand. Works exactly as it's supposed to. Tube comes separate from the bladder - make sure that you tighten the tube very securely to the bag, otherwise it will leak and freeze your back like mine did on my first ride. Also, pay attention when you twist the bag closed after filling - there are small marks to guide you that I didn't notice at first.Pros - Big bladder, nice big opening to add ice and for easy fill, bite valve can open or close easily to eliminate unwanted flowCons- lower flow on bite valve than more expensive competitors, hose must be carefully and forcefully attached to avoid leaking. Just beyond hand tightening

"plastic smell"
nice size and quality construction at a reasonable price. however, the "plastic smell" was so intense that on my first hike with this product, the water was not drinkable. this was obviously an issue. i have not used it since nor have i tried baking soda or other cleansing tablets to see if the awful smell/taste can be cured. my expectations were that product would work out of the box with nothing more than a hot water rinse...

Mouthpiece fell off after three days of use
I just brought this along on a 4 day backcountry backpacking trip. Being able to get nearly 3L (more than the 2.5L capacity was fantastic. Unfortunately it is not as rugged as it claims. The blue rubber mouth piece came off on my third day of use. It is not easy to pop it back on. The mouthpiece cover then became useless. Thankfully it works without either of those pieces, or I would have been a pain in the butt to get to my water.I'm not so sure I would recommend this to anyone. I do like the handle on it. That made carrying it to and from lakes/streams to filter water very easy. My friend traveled with a camelback brand bladder. Hers held up, both of us used it for the first time on this trip. The camelback didn't have a handle, and so it was more cumbersome to carry.

BEST customer service that could not be matched!
Let me start by saying that I am a huge nature enthusiast and an experienced hiker. I've had plenty of experience with hydration backpacks and bladders, and needed a new one so I ordered 2 BONL Hydration Bladder. First of all it was a pleasure to see that the bladder came with a cap for the mouth piece - unlike previous bladders I've had. However, what I've appreciated most is the company's customer service. I had to return one of the Bladder due to leaks, and the company replaced the bladder for free, and even sent me another product to soon to be for sale to test that impressed me even more. The quality and craftsmanship of the bladders are amazing and I can't wait to test them out on long hikes. Highly recommend to any hikers, travelers etc. and customer service could not be matched!

THIS BLADDER ALMOST KILLED ME!! DO NOT BUY!!
This bladder is complete garbage. Seriously, do not waste your money on this inferior product. It is most definitely not military grade and will leave you dying from dehydration when you are on a 20 mile hike. It leaks about 1 liter an hour from the bottom of bladder, top, the bite valve as well as the slide on piece that goes into the bite valve. There is no need to have all these joints on this thing. 5 to be exact. 4 of them leak. They make cleaning kits to alleviate that problem. Immediately upon arrival I noticed a major flaw. The o ring on the hose was way too big to seal at all. Also the dust cover on my unit is completely different from the picture. The dust cover wouldn't even close from the beginning. It fell off the first day and was never recovered. I did mange to find the bite valve that fell off though. By the time I found it the water had all leaked out with 12 miles to go. Nice, 113 degrees with no water. I'm happy to say with all the water that leaked out that it fried my phone and camera. So I had no means of communication, all by myself. With only 5 more miles left I was so dizzy I passed out for some time and was awakened by 2 hikers. Thankfully they both had camel backs full of water and saved my life. Angels with camel backs told me i looked like i was dead and was not responsive at first. To make a long story short. Please do not buy this thing. If I knew an 8 dollar difference from camelback to a boner brand would cost my life. I would have paid quadruple for a nicely sealed camelback. It is the truth, you get what you pay for. THIS THING IS FAR FROM MILITARY GRADE!!!! Clearly that why our military does not use them. Just because it's army green does not mean military grade. You are better off putting your water in a garbage bag than this thing. If I could give it a negative star it would be -5 star review.

I jumped on it (Literally)
This is a 2.5 liter bladder that can hold 3liters easy. As advertised and is very leak proof. I filled it up and jumped on it to try to break it because there is a picture off a car running it over. It didn't break or leak. Only have used it once after that but am still very impressed. Well done Bonl
