If I use this all over my bottom, and I get gas. Will blow bubbles?

Does this butter taste good on toast after a long bike ride?

Truly nothing better than this butter. Just scrape whatever is leftover after the ride and enjoy. You may want to choose a crusty artisan bread as the mass produced garbage simply doesn't do. Go for a spelt, as the nuttiness brings out all of the tones that you want out of this stuff - simply sublime.

Do you think this could also be used by runners? How does it work in areas with skin to skin contact?

I have used it while competing in an adventure races, where I've ran, biked, and canoed. The races are lengthy, and I've found that the Chamois Butt'r holds up well for a few hours. I apply it along the seam-line of my shorts, underwear, and have even put in on my shoulders because I was hauling a pack. In general, and more to your question, the skin to skin places are where it does the best. I'd be well worth your money to try it. They make some on-the-go little packs of probably less than an ounce that I've seen in bike shops, which is what I'd recommend if you were really hesitant about going all in with a larger bottle.

If they area is already chaffed, is it a good idea to put some on the affected area?

I've never had any problem doing that. On 2+ week self-supported bicycle tours, where rubbing/rashes are sometimes unavoidable, I clean the entire crotch area with baby wipes, then applied the Chamois Butt'r with CLEAN HANDS. It works great. I wouldn't try it if there were open sores or deep abrasions--at that point I'd be talking to my doctor. But the Chamois Butt's has never contributed to chaffing, or caused it to worsen.

The product of course is great no doubt. But selling it for almost 2.5 times the actual cost sounds like unreasonably steep.

Der Preis schreckt zunächst ab. Wenn man die Salbe dann aber das erste Mal ausprobiert stellt man schnell fest, dass sich jeder ausgegebene Cent lohnt. Ich habe nach 3 Monaten nachdem ich mit dem Rad fahren begann meine erste lange Strecke mit 265km ohne die kleinste Hautirritation gefahren. Dabei habe ich die Salbe 2 Mal unterwegs neu aufgetragen. Die Salbe ist ergiebig. Ich werden sie wieder kaufen.
