Pilgrim 18000 Raised Hearth Wood Stove Tool Set

This is a sturdy, well built set of tools for a wood stove. Regular fireplace tools are too long & also look out of place next to a wood stove. Easy to assemble, built to last & a solid value. One tool included here (not in a typical set of fireplace tools) is a tool to scrape the ashes together & into the stove ash collection bin below. The only thing I wish it included is a set of tongs, but have not seen tongs in any set of wood stove tools. Would purchase these again in a heartbeat.

There's so little assembly required for this item. And it would have been so easy for someone at the company to check to make sure the screws were properly sized for the pre-drilled holes. But they didn't. So every customer has to fight with the product or return it. This is especially annoying since the product is expensive and holds itself out to be a luxury item.

We needed new fireplace tools and the local shops no longer exist. I found this product a good fit for style and size. The workmanship and materials are excellent. No trouble whatsoever with assembly.

This product from AES shipped by Woodland Direct is actually made by Pilgrim which makes very heavy, very durable and very finely crafted hearth products. They are pricey but have a lifetime warranty; i.e. buy them once period. That's a value.
