Grossan Breathe-ease Nasal Moisturizing Gel

This does exactly what it purports: it makes the inside of the nostrils feel like they are moist. If you're looking @ this item, you & I share a problem: very dry nostrils; perhaps yours, like mine, can't even clear mucus b/c there is too much dried mucus holding the wetter stuff in. Creates perfect conditions for a sinus infection. I strongly recommend this product for moisture, plus SeaGate Olive Leaf Nasal Spray to prevent/ break up any mucus that may be incubating pathogens.

I was expecting this to be something really helping for my dry nose during winter time. However it didn't turn out that way.First of all the tip is useless, since you can hardly get anything out of it - the stuff inside is not a gel (as I expected) neither soft enough and you have to put a lot of effort using both hands.Even if you are strong enough to get something out of it, you have to use a finger to apply it. "No mess", huh?Second - whatever ingredients they are using it doesn't help any better than petroleum jelly.So save your time and money and buy something better or simply go to your local department store and but a Vaseline lip balm for pennies - works much better than this product.

Great Product ! Have had problems with Dry, Crusted Nose for years, that has affected my sleep. With this product I sleep better. Only two issues 1. Difficult to administer a 'single dose' and 2. The tube I got seemed to have a lot of AIR and not too much product ! For about $8 a pop I think they need to do better.

This is an excellent product that fills an important niche. I am unable to use saline rinses because they block the eustacian tube of my right ear. But I have allergies & use nasonex & astelin, which are drying. This gel is great because it is moisturizing, & is mild & soothing. Moreover (& this is a big plus) it has a long nozzle that fits into the nose. Other gels require using a Q Tip, which is a nuisance. I love this product! PS: the tube seems small, but it provides an amazingly large number of applications.2 years later: Unfortunately, after receiving some really bad tubes I've had to reappraise my thoughts about this product and reduce it from 5 stars to 3. When formulated correctly, it does work wonderfully. But, as another reviewer states, some tubes come through with a formulation that is so thick it remains like clear silicone. It does not melt even when inside your nose. But Amazon is wonderful & refunds the cost (including postage) for a faulty product. Thus, it remains worth trying for it is a good item when there is no formulary issue.

DRY AIR , LIKE IN HEATED ROOM OR A CAR DRIES MY NOSTRALS HENCE I FIND IT DIDFFICULT TO BREETH. THE GEL PREVENTS THE DRYNESS ADN HENCE IMPOVES BREETHING

I was worried this would be irritating, but it really helped after having sinus/turbinate surgery, and also when starting on CPAP. I only use it occasionally now, since my very large turbinate reduction (THANK GOD) left me with a bit of a dry nose. Totally worth it. Surprisingly useful product! Especially good to use saline spray or rinse first, then this stuff to lock in the moisture.

My allergies in fall are pretty bad and I have to use spray decongestants and pseudoephedrin every day. Problem is, they are very drying and the inside of my nose was cut to pieces. I bought this stuff, having been a user of Grossan's salt mix, but this stuff is just nothing I really would use again. Goes on ok, but ends up becoming this semi-dry glop of goo just balled up inside your nose. Not attractive and really not doing anything to moisturize. I just went back to a bit of A&D Ointment (my family's miracle for everything for over 50 years) on a q-tip and my cuts healed in a few days. Don't waste your money on this unless you like the feeling of fake boogers in your nose. (Sorry - gross, but true.) :-(

First off, the packaging on this is hilarious. "Dry nose protection for the whole family" -- no, thanks. I'd rather not share.I found it too thick to use with my CPAP; it didn't squeeze out of the package well, and I didn't enjoy the smell. I will be buying more Ayr Saline Nasal Gel instead.
