Ceramic Hunting Knife Black

I gutted and skinned a Whitetail buck. The knife was just as sharp when I finished as it was when I started.I was initially very impressed with this knife. My first review is above. However last weekend I pulled the hams and backstraps off a 150# wild hog. The knife barely got through the job and was dull as a butter knife when I finished. Granted Ive never seen a knife that could handle a hog without getting dull but after reading the manufactures claims for this knife I had high hopes. On the plus side the factory website says they will resharpen for $10. Ill update this review after I get the knife back.

This was my first ceramic knife so I was unsure what to expect, but have been very pleasantly surprised. I use it for cutting, not prying. While this is my first ceramic knife. It won't be my last.

I bought three of these excellent hunting knives for myself and two adult sons. These knives are razor sharp and to keep them in that condition I use the Work Sharp Knife and Tool Sharpener. Remember these knives are ceramic and will break if torqued or used to pry! Other than that, they hold an edge longer than any steel blade.

Very happy with the knife but thought the blade would be a little longer

The knife arrived dull. Really dull. Shouldn't happen. Next, the caveats about torque and prying. There is no point in taking a fragile knife to the field, hunting or anything else. The time for ceramic knives has not arrived.
