Guyot Designs 5 in 1 Microbite Set, Tomato

Very nice utensil set. Smaller than expected and closer to what I really wanted. This is a great set that can be used for small scale cooking (1 or 2 people in small pots and pans), or could be eating utensils.A serrated spatula makes way more sense than a sharp sided fork. I was looking for a decent spork that was acceptable for eating and didn't pretend to be a knife. That describes this spork.The spatula looks like it would be a decent knife. Normally for steak I would just use my pocket knife and something fork like,, but this actually looks promising.I like the nesting ability, as it almost protects the sharp bits from damaging anything during transport.Not sure if they plastic could withstand pulling anything of the grill. But it see seems well made.

I haven't had a chance to use these yet, as I'm still in the process of gearing up, but I'm sure I'm going to love these. I chose the Microbites over the LMF Spork mainly because the LMF Spork has a serrated edge on the spork which will cut the corner of your mouth over the course of a meal. The Microbites has no such design flaw. The knife/spatula being a separate tool makes it so much more useful to me.4 stars only because I haven't used it yet. I'm sure it's well worth 5 stars though, and I'll change my review to reflect that once I've had a chance to use it.For the price, you really can't go wrong.

These things are great. I have bought several of them. I move around a lot at work, so I don't always have a permanent "office space". This is exactly what I needed, its easy to carry (small) and serves almost every eating function. (There is a way to use them as tongs, if you have a rubber-band). One stays in my work/messenger bag at all times. And I have one in my wife's car. These can handle any situation. These also work well in an emergency food kit (with cookware etc). Will probably buy more, for a "travel kit".

This is a nice set if you like sporks. I usually do not as a spork is a compromise on a spoon and a fork. The spoon on this does not hold much liquid so it works better on thicker food like stews. For soup you will get very little in each spoonful. The rest of the utensils work well. These sets are hard to find in my area stores so I was pleased to find them here. They are strong, compact, and I like the red color as it helps you find them easily.

Got one set to go with my Trangia mini set, liked it so much I got a second set to keep in my car at all times. I tried to cut steak and it did it with no issues, I don’t pretend to cut steak all the time with this, but is good to know it can if I don’t have a knife.

Its plastic, and works reasonably well. Nice to have on a hike.

Very sturdy, reasonable price

These utensils are compact and sturdy. I also recently got a mess kit that is non-stick and the spatula works great to not scratch it.
