Mr. Hobby SF283 Mr. Base White 1000 Bottle 40ml, GSI

This is what I want in a model primer. It doesn't obscure detail, but it's still reasonably opaque. It sprays well straight from the bottle. This is now my go-to white primer.

Mr Color enables smooth and relatively robust finishes. This provides an excellent white base coat for yellow, gloss white, and metallic finishes. Thin to the consistency of 1% milk with Mr Color Leveling Thinner and you'll get a wonderfully smooth finish.

A good base coat to start it. Most definitely needs thinning to make it work.

Use it as a primer for lacquer paint. Works very well and give a very smooth finish. Bonds well to plastic.

隠蔽力の弱い塗装の際の下地に重宝しています

隠蔽力の強い白い塗料です。サフ効果もあると買いてありますが、サブではないので期待するほど傷は埋まりません。ツヤはないです

ベースホワイトとは「下地の色を隠す」機能に重きを置かれた白色塗料です。下地の表面を整える役割の「サーフェイサー」とは役割が異なります。あくまで、下地処理剤というより通常の塗料の延長と考えるとよいでしょう。隠ぺい力は十分です。希釈しても数回重ねるとしっかり白い下地が出来上がります。主な使い方は筆塗り：吹きつけ塗装では届きにくい箇所にあらかじめ塗布しておく。吹きつけ：希釈してエアブラシで吹き付ける。　　　　　→スプレータイプもありますが、この方法であれば塗膜をより薄くできます。1/100スケールのガンプラ1体に本商品を吹き付けるとなると2〜3本用意しておくことをお勧めします。

サフは、最初にグレータイプ吹いて、その後、ベースにホワイトを吹くのに使います。サフがわりに、これで済むなんて思ったら失敗します。
