There's a variety of items to make from this book. Although it mentions using t shirt yarn, I used 2 skeins of to complete what I made.Be aware that the patterns are written European style where stitches are different from American patterns. (The stitches are described toward the back of the book so it is easy to understand how they are different.) Each pattern is brief but not rated for difficulty. I would consider the patterns easy to make.

Really great patterns in this book. They work up super fast since large hooks and extra bulky yarns are used. Some patterns were previously published in other books, but this book has lots more that other early issues.

Very informative but wish illustrations were larger. Very Good book for beginners. Would definitely recommend for someone new to crocheting.
