Sand Socks

LOVE LOVE LOVE these things! I have an issue with sand -- it's a texture thing and I don't like the feeling of it. I went on a vacation and knew I'd be miserable on the beach trying not to be bothered by the sand and I found these. It was amazing. I couldn't feel the texture of the sand and was able to walk around freely without my skin crawling. The only time any sand would get in them was while in the ocean jumping waves, which is understandable. I wore them for five days without any problems of tearing or ripping. They really work for hot sand -- I didn't feel the heat at all and didn't have to worry about hurting my feet on shells. I bought three pairs: black, beige, and navy with green lightning. The navy with green lightning are my favorite (more fun!) and the beige ones were more inconspicuous (still noticeable but didn't make my feet look weird). The black ones reminded me of dress socks. I wear a women's size 7.5 and bought a small -- they were a bit tight but I liked it that way and the medium was too big. I'd get these over water shoes; they stay on and still protect from heat, rocks, and shells.

Took a lot of purchases to get the correct sizing for both my boys.. id def say runs bigger than size chart for sure.. once you get the right size, they were great for our soccer tournament on the beach

Purchased these for our kids for a Sand Soccer tournament at Virginia Beach, VA. They fit as advertised but didn't keep the heat from the sand away from the foot. It was about 100 degrees the day of the tournament.

Worked extremely well for playing ultimate frisbee for a beach tournament. Several other teammates tried them out, and they were perfect for fields that were especially hot; one girl refused to play unless she could use them, for fear of burning the bottoms of her feet.

Affordable but don't expect these to last long. After using them on the beach for a little over a month, the bottoms tore. Also, they don't do a good job of keeping sand out since it's easy for sand to get in at the top of the socks so I would have to dump out sand in the socks throughout.
