I was hesitant when I read the other negative reviews. I was new to the process of tube feeding my dog and was horrified by the single-use tubes - considering that I needed 12 a day! It's true that some of the food gets stuck under the tip, but it's not a problem. I bought enough for a days' feeding and I put them in the dishwasher each night and am confident they are sterilized. When re-inserting the plunger, I find it helps to wiggle the plunger at a few different angles to get it in - rather than trying to plunge straight in - and then it glides in easily. You can also try running medium-hot water in the capsule to soften it before inserting the plunger. You can refer to my short video to see how I do it. Best of luck. Tube feeding my dog was a steep learning curve, but it was so worth it. She is doing so much better now and starting to eat on her own again. I no longer have to fight with her to take her pills - I just crush them and put them through the tube, and if she doesn't want to eat a meal, no big deal, I feed her myself through the tube. She has learned to ask for meals by standing by the Breville Boss (after trying NutriBullet and every competing product, the Breville is truly the best). I call her tube (or "snorkel) the "nutrition line" which has taken all of the stress out of getting her the nutrition she needs to stay healthy and happy and I will hopefully have her for many more years to come!! To everyone who says the numbers come off - rookie mistake. This happens on ALL, 100% of syringes, no matter the brand. Cover with clear packing tape before first use.We remove the oring, spray, run thru dishwasher, reassemble with a drop of olive oil, and have used the same set of 15 for daily use for well over 3 years now.3 stars for quality - the plastic isn't as thick as other brands and has cracked on the edge of the plunger on a couple, but still usable.5 stars for the oring. Critical component for reuse.5 stars for novelty. This is the ONLY 60 luer oring I've ever found in existence.Tip for seller - we mod the luer lock by cutting the outer ring off, to make it a luer slip tip, and we can then use it to feed directly into a gt button. If you could sell luer SLIP TIP, there's a huge market there of people who feed blended enteral and would love to go direct to button, who aren't as handy with a utility blade.

These syringes were so useful when I had to tube feed my dog that had an esophagostomy tube (who sadly lost her battle with myasthenia gravis). My only complaint is that the markings wear off with repeated use. I’ve been wrapping the new ones with a piece of clear packing tape before using and that seems to work well to protect them. These o ring syringes work so much more smoothly for repeated use than the standard variety. With this large a syringe that makes a big difference for my arthritic hands.

The markings started coming off after the first use (see photo) and just kept going. They are now completely blank which makes them pretty much useless as I use them for tube feeding my cat who needs to get precise amounts of food at each feeding so I don’t over or under feed him. The o-ring also begins to stretch out pretty quickly and after a while makes it more difficult to use.I ended up purchasing other ones from Henry’s Healthy Pet Foods which are so much better.

I bought these since I’m tube feeding a cat. The plunge syringes the vet gave me lasted only a few feeds before I was using every ounce of force to push. These syringes are amazing! Cut my feeding time down since they glide so easily. I feed 60 cc’s at a time so I pre-fill them and stick them in the fridge. These have seriously made tube feeding a breeze!

These do not last the amount of washes as advertised. After 30 or so washes, the o-rings would get caught in the tube and twist so that there was no suction or it would leak. Many of the plungers also broke which created the same issue. They also became very difficult to use. I know it was recommended to use a sticker to prevent the measurement marks from washing off but I would expect the syringes to come with a sticker if this is a known problem and the product is advertised to last over 100 washes. It was better than using single use syringes to reduce waste but saving plastic comes at a different kind of cost.

I was blowing through the rubber ones the vet gave me for my dog's feeding tube, constant sticking. I have been using the same one of these for 3 weeks, no sticking! Nice and easy to use, the part where you press is wider so it's easier to use and it has a backstop so you don't accidentally pull the plunger out and spray food on yourself. If you have an animal with a feeding tube, invest the money and save yourself the grief. These end up being cheaper after a month of those rubber ones giving out anyway!

When my cat was diagnosed with cancer and needed a feeding tube put in, I searched everywhere for a reusable syringe, and found these.I ordered them despite the bad reviews, and am very happy with them.The o-ring comes off easily with the help of a small orange peeler, and from there, the syringe is extremely easy to clean.The only thing I did was wrap tape over the numbers, because I think after multiple washings they'll fade, like other syringes.We've been using them steadily for a few weeks now, feeding 6 times per day, and have had zero issues.Would recommend and would buy again if I ever need more.

My son is gtube fed and I had been looking for bigger sirenger that would fit my son's gtube. This works great. I wash it all the time and it does not lose suction grip.

Use these for my GJ feeding tube. Much better than using regular syringes highly recommend O ring syringe.Have purchased from the company multiple times of various sizes
