Kerosene Heater Wick (AW-40)

I have spent the last 2 years trying to get the old "auction find" kerosene heater in my shed working. The wick was shot and they have been soo hard to find. Every time I try and light it... it sputters around for a minute then burns out... untill I found this.This wick was so amazing, it not only is the right model for my heater, but it had the magically ability to make my old wick just start working. Just the thought of being replaced was enough to kick start my old wick into life and has been going strong ever sense.Not actually sure how well the new wick works or even fits yet... havnt needed to try... but as a magical repair to my old wick it is flawless!

The metal band did not lock the wick in place very securely but so far it has not come loose .

This wick has been through hell and back with me over a couple of winters. It's performance is great. Very little charring over the years of use and no smoking when burned at correct level. Very good product!

Will not clip in place properly keeping it right against the part that sucks up the kerosene so it does not burn properly as it star's for fuel. Have taken the unit apart approx. 10 times with the same results.
