NO! If this is added to ethanol containing gas, the ethanol is still there. It only raises octane. The ethanol will still cause the fuel to destabilize and coagulate over time. If this is in the fuel system for a period of time (such as winter storage for 2-cycle or 4-cycle engines in chainsaws, leaf blowers, lawnmowers, etc.) one still faces the certainty of clogged carburetors and a springtime headache.
